This program is now legendary in Russia and considered to be the greatest work on the sport, ever. The book has become extremely rare, even in Russia and reserved only for masters of sport Sambo. World Martial Arts and Russian Sambo champion Igor Yakimov have teamed up to bring you this exciting program for the first time outside of its homeland. Following the original program technique by technique, this ten-tape video library contains virtually every takedown, ground position, submission, and strategy in Sambo. Every single technique being proceeded by the original drawings that describe the move. Each video contains ten important lessons. Each lesson contains standing and groundwork resulting in almost three hundred techniques shown.
Igor Yakimov is a graduate of the prestigious Choboskary military school were he was trained in the art of combat and sport fighting. He was twice Russian national Sambo Champion and once International Sambo Champion. He currently holds the rank of Master Class instructor and is the North American representative for F.I.A.S., the largest Sambo sanctioning body in the world. | |
